STUDENTS MEET FLORIDA STATE REPRESENTATIVE ARI PORTH

Students from the Deans-Academy had breakfast with Florida Congressman Ari Porth at Lesters' Restaurant in Margate yesterday. The breakfast was in salute to the students who passed their FCAT make up tests, and for the students who brought up their reading and math skills. Meeting Representative Porth was a real treat for the students. They had alot of questions for him and he had alot of questions for them. Some of the students are heading off to college to study electrical engineering, pharmacy, accounting, education, and sports medicine. Representative Porth told the students about his upbringing, his school years, his college days, and how and why he got into politics. He bought breakfast for the students and made them aware of why its so important to vote, and the importance of being counted. The students will never forget Congressman Ari Porth!! We thank him for taking time out of his busy day to spend time with the Dean's Academy!!!
